Residential Stream Assessment and Permitting Project, Woodside, California.
Sunset provided due diligence and initial project environmental consultation on project design for a large residential development and landscaping project to avoid and/or minimize biological resources impacts. Once project plans were developed, Sunset provided preliminary agency consultations and conducted a Biological Resources Assessment and Rare Plant Surveys for CEQA compliance. Sunset is preparing regulatory permit applications through the US Army Corps of Engineers, Regional Water Quality Control Board, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
San Rafael Canal Pier Improvements Project, San Rafael, California.
Sunset conducted a Western Pond Turtle Habitat Assessment to comply with the CDFW requirements in the Section 1602 Streambed Alteration Agreement. In addition, Sunset also provided nesting bird surveys to confirm that project actions would not impact nesting birds according to the California Fish and Game Code.
